Service Technician

OVERVIEW
This is a Temp-to-Hire full-time job at an equipment company in Tama. The Service Technician will be responsible for servicing and repairing various types of equipment including but not limited to skid loaders and augers with specific knowledge hydraulic and electrical systems.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
o Perform scheduled maintenance such as cleaning and lubricating parts
o Diagnose and identify malfunctions, using computerized tools and equipment
o Inspect, repair, and replace defective or worn parts such as bearings, pistons, and gears
o Overhaul and test major components such as engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
o Disassemble and reassembly equipment and components
o Performs other similar or related work as assigned
o Comply with all safety rules and procedures
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
o Ability to work efficiently with hands
o Reliable and dependable with the ability to be at work on time everyday
o Knowledge of computers and computerized tools, equipment, and diagnostic equipment
o Knowledge of hydraulics and electrical systems
o Ability to analyze and diagnose heavy equipment
o Ability to update and maintain appropriate repair and maintenance reports
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
o High School Diploma/Equivalent
o Training, education, and/or experience with the repair and maintenance of equipment
WORK HOURS/SHIFT
o Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm
WAGE
o $35,000-$40,000/yr
o Salary will be commensurate with education and experience
SCREENING/TESTING REQUIREMENTS

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
